Dear Senior Parents,

As we register our children for Senior Year, each of us has mixed feelings.  There’s always a little bit of sadness, a little bit of joy and a whole lot of worry over the future that lies ahead.  With all that in mind, please take a moment to read through the Grad Nite materials enclosed.  It can be the best thing that you can do for your senior!

The philosophy and ideals behind Grad Nite are founded on the basic ingredients of providing a safe, sober, and spectacular celebration the night our children graduate.  More than “just a party”, Grad Nite is a united commitment by parents, school, and community to conduct a safe and sober event.  What is Grad Nite?

• An opportunity to give our grads a unique and memorable celebration, just for them.
• Parents working together to provide a fun, alcohol and drug free celebration.
• A party that will keep our grads safe on what could be a dangerous night.

So how can you get involved?

• Buy your grad’s ticket right now!  All tickets will be $120.00.  You can purchase tickets at registration or mail it in.  The ticket price will increase as of June 1, 2012.

• Volunteer to help!  The committee to organize Grad Nite 2012 is being formed.  Over the years, as parents we have been a part of our kids’ activities through PTA, recreational and school sports, choir, band, etc.  Grad Nite is an opportunity for all of us to come together for one last celebration.  On the back of this letter is a Parent Interest response form.  Fill out the form and mail it to the high school or have your senior bring it to registration.

• Visit the Grad Nite Website.  You can keep informed about upcoming meetings and fundraising projects.  This is a good way to reach us if you have any questions.  The address is www.bohsgradnite.com

• Mark your calendars and come to the Grad Nite Meetings on the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the BOHS cafeteria

This will be an opportunity to learn more about Grad Nite and to see how you might be able to be a part.  There are many ways to help – come find out how your time and talent can help make Grad Nite 2012 special for our seniors!    THANK YOU!
